Job analysis
"Job-analysis" is defined as "the process of gathering job information by breaking the job down into its component elements, in order to identify what tasks and responsibilities a job consists of, and what environmental conditions surround the job" (Rothmann & Cooper, 2008).

Strategic Job analysis

Strategic job analysis is carried out alongside traditional job analysis (Dewberry, 2009). Its goal is the "specification of the tasks to be performed, and the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) required, for effective performance of a job as it is predicted to exist in the future" (Schneider & Konz (1989).
